Did you know that the first electric 2CV of the world is in France ? We have tested it in exclusive preview. Thank you to R-FIT Society based in Cassis near Marseille for allowing us to drive this car from the future with a vintage style.

The Yes Provence team tried this mythic car in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. The electric 2CV keep its retro look, nothing changes with one exception : the engine. The combustion engine is replaced by an electric engine. It doesn’t emit CO2.

We talked a lot about this electric car Made in France. Electric kit will be generalized and all 2CV will be able to become electric, a way to mix new and old. We were lucky to stroll roads of Provence with this beautiful yellow 2CV. From outside view it’s a vintage 2CV but inside it is very modern.

Feelings are the same in this new 2CV. We remove all noises and we only keep feeling of freedom. Yes Provence team appreciated this aspect, and we are sure that you will like it too.

This 2CV matches to the image of Yes Provence. It is environment friendly with a modern touch. Our ecological approach go much further. Our local is equipped with solar panels to provide our electricity needs. In the future we will have a fleet with just electric 2CV and recharge them with the sun of Provence. (For information the 2CV was recharged thanks to our photovoltaic roof installed by Provence Éco Énergie).

To finish we liked this electric 2CV test and R-FIT concept. Yes Provence wants to offer you this new solution to visit and enjoy Provence. We are sure you will love to drive this electric car too.
