Yes Provence participated to the event Into Alpilles.

Plan of this beautiful day: visit of the Romanin castle, wine harvest, stroll in a 2CV and Méhari, discovery of the Alpilles in the heart of Provence.

During September, we have participated to the event Into Alpilles in order to bring to the fore the providers of the region with our marvellous cars: 2CV and Méhari, discover provence differently. 

We start our day at the Domaine de la Pierre Blanche to get to know our group around a delicious breakfast made of local products. With the day ahead of us, it is important to get some strenght in the morning ! 

Then, en route for a nice stroll with the 10 person group. We moved in 3 different vehicles, two 2CVs and a Méhari, driven by our 4 experienced chauffeurs.

We take the direction of the Château de Romanin. The sun is shining and we enjoy its soft rays whilst driving. When we arrive, we start the visit in the caves. The guide explains the full creation process from the culture, the production to the bottling of their wine. It is worth the visit, the domain is truely extraordinary and the wine is excellent !


Here we are, back on the road aboard our superb classic cars ! We then go to the vines to pick the grapes and to have more explainations on the type of grapes used. 




Let's go again ! We all get to work to harvest the vines at the Château Romanin ! It was the group's first time, a very enriching experience. We had a wonderful moment. The picture down below speaks for itself ! Did you know that 100% of the harvest is picked by hand ?! It is a huge amount of work to do on a very short amount of time. 
It is already close to 1:00 pm, our stomachs are rumbling, everyone starts to be hungry ! We slowly get to the Domaine de la Pierre Blanche to have a very savoury meal. 

En route, we fly the drone above us to immortalise the beautiful vines in which we spent our morning.

At the domaine de la Pierre Blanche, we shared a delicious meal ! The food is refined and very well presented. They also do a Sunday brunch !

Afte rluncj, the Yes Provence team is interviewed by Alpilles TV. We talked about our love for Provence, our values... The video of this clip will soon be available, we already are looking forwards to show it to you ! 

We then went to a bocce course, the oppotunity to play boules whilst savouring cocktails from the Bar Event ! Sébastien and his team are specialized in the making of tailor-made cocktails, wonderful ! Today, the theme is « Château Romanin wine and local products ».
