Our Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet had an appointment in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue this Saturday, October 29 in partnership with two Tourist Offices. On board, 8 instagrammers came to discover our Provencal villages.

Our Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet had an appointment in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue this Saturday, October 29 with the Tourist Offices Destination Luberon Coeur de Provence and L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue Tourism. On board, 8 instagrammers came to discover our Provencal villages, the gastronomy and stroll in the flea markets. To start this sunny day, a breakfast was waiting for them at the Patisserie Eugénie. After delicious pies and a coffee, they went to the flea market.

This date was not chosen at random because today is the International Fair. Second hand dealers and visitors from all over the world are waiting for this event to find the rare pearl. Furniture, vintage objects, jewelry, dishes, fabrics, everything they present has a past and a history. Whether you want to enlarge your collection or just to divert an object in decoration, the fair inspires to make these unique objects last.

Our dear guests went to the Museum La Filaventure Brun Vian Tiran for a silky and colorful visit. This museum belongs to the last remaining factory in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue specialized in noble fibers. It produces fabrics, blankets and clothes in wool, cotton and cashmere. The museum presents its history and that of the weaving trades.

Aboard their convertible Beetles, they took to the road again, this time to Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, a neighboring village known worldwide for its chasm and its spring. The group had lunch overlooking the river and a paddle wheel in the old village inn. The Château Olive et Raisin restaurant recently opened its doors to offer refined cuisine with Provencal and Mediterranean flavors.

Visit of the village then passage to Gordes, they finished their day with an olive oil tasting at the Museum La Royère in Oppède. This setting ends in beauty this day rich in discoveries.

What they remembered about our cars: All of them, without exception, loved to drive differently. "In a modern car, we don't take the time to appreciate the road and the landscapes. In these old Beetles, we are more aware of what surrounds us and we don't go unnoticed", says one of them.
