The Gorges of Oppedette
Breathe in the sweet air of Provence during a hike. This small canyon of limestone rock has created the relief of this territory for millions of years. This hike will take you under arches, you will walk in the water a few times depending on the river and climb to caves. You have to be ready for anything! Prepare for this expedition by considering which loop you want to do. You can get information on Visorando or on the Pays d'Apt tourist office. Also check the weather forecast before leaving.

Vegetable heart of the Alpilles
The site of Alpilles abounds in varied landscapes, breathtaking viewpoints and curiosities. The vegetal heart is one of them. It is visible towards the Oppidum des Caisses de Jean-Jean which is an archaeological site. The heart formed by the vegetation in a natural way on the limestone is rather mysterious and poetic at the same time.
The loop proposed by the Chemin des Parcs is accessible to all and lasts 3 hours. Being in a protected site, the hikes are well indicated. During the summer, ask about access to the trail (risk of closure if there is a risk of fire).

Whisky at Château du Barroux
The new owners have decided to open the doors of this magnificent 12th century castle. Transported back to the medieval era, you will be able to walk through the different rooms during a self-guided tour or a guided tour. To add a touch of aroma and shake up your palate, Fanny and Jean-Baptiste make their own whisky. In Provence, we are used to wine and beer but whisky is a first! A visit which is worth the detour and which will show you other treasures of Provence. Lovers of good wines or beautiful castles, this place is made for you !
