Aubagne and Marcel Pagnol

Aubagne and Marcel Pagnol

Take the road again in a Combi Van to the Pays de Pagnol. The hinterland of Provence has many surprises in store for you. Visit Aubagne, the city where santons were born from the hands of craftsmen and where the writer Marcel Pagnol grew up. A city between the hills that honors art and clay, two fundamentals of Provence. As for Allauch, it is the village where many hikes start that pay tribute to Pagnol's writings. A walk in the heart of the hills at your own pace !

Want to visit Marseille? Park the van and visit the city on foot. You can even go by train if you don't want to drive in the city. In the Combi Van, we advise you to leave the city and go to the Vallon des Auffes, the Goudes, an old small fishermen's village with a panoramic view on the city and the Frioul islands. Then direction Cassis by the Col de la Gineste. You will be in the middle of the scrubland and the limestone rocks, a landscape which changes from Marseille !

Carry-le-Rouet
