Pernes-les-Fontaines

It is said that there are more than 40 fountains in the city, we challenge you to verify this by visiting it. Some traces of its past remain, notably the Clock Tower, the ramparts and the church. It is also a place where craftsmen are honored. Ironworkers, jewelers, potters, sculptors, all rub shoulders and highlight these unique skills.

Nougats Sylvain

Let yourself be tempted by a little delicacy and pass the doors of this craftsman. Producer of its own almonds and honey, taste the nougat cooked with the family recipe. The bee path allows children to walk among the crops and understand the importance of these small insects.

Crillon-le-Brave

A very atypical name for a village hidden in the Ventoux region. Its name is in honor of the valiant companion of Henri IV who lived here. The village is nowadays very attractive for its proximity and its view on the Mont Ventoux. We suggest you to discover this village and the surroundings by bike. It will be a change from your vintage car!

Bedoin

Bédoin is the closest village to the Mont Ventoux and is the starting point for many cyclists for the courageous ascent of this mountain. Hikers can also try the adventure. The village itself is full of cafés and bars, it is above all a place where sportsmen, inhabitants and tourists meet. A certain country quietude inhabits this village.

Le Barroux

When you arrive you can't miss the village dominated by its Renaissance castle built on a fortress. Admire this very well preserved monument and visit the streets of the village. Once again, a real visit to the heart of the Middle Ages awaits you. The castle has recently opened its doors and you can visit the different rooms during a self-guided tour or a guided tour. To add a touch of aroma and shake up your palate, Fanny and Jean-Baptiste make their own whisky. In Provence, we are used to wine and beer but whisky is a first! A visit which is worth the detour and which will show you other treasures of Provence. Lovers of good wines or beautiful castles, this place is made for you!

Vacqueyras

You will fall under the charm of this old village known worldwide for its wine. Discover the Château des Vassadel, the former lords of the territory and some other vestiges of the Middle Ages. Surrounded by vineyards, stop at one of the wine estates. An appellation bears its name. If you like good wines, we recommend you to visit its neighbors Gigondas and Beaumes-de-Venise, their wines are different and just as exquisite.

Séguret

A village still different from the others at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail. You can appreciate its square shaded by hundred-year-old plane trees, the coolness of the Mascarons Fountain, classified as a historical monument, and its steep streets. Park on the parking lot at the bottom of the village and discover at your own pace!

Vaison-la-Romaine

In Vaison-la-Romaine, a Romanesque bridge spans the Ouvèze, the river that separates the medieval and Roman parts of this multifaceted town. Visit the ancient theater which houses vestiges of the Roman period. Shows and concerts are still organized in this place full of history offering a unique staging. Stroll through the cobblestone streets, past medieval houses and up to the castle. This place will offer you a splendid view on the Mont Ventoux and the Dentelles de Montmirail.

Château Pesquié

Discover this wine estate at the foot of the Mont Ventoux. Here, wine is above all a family affair since the vineyard has existed for 50 years. 4 generations have succeeded each other and produce AOC Ventoux wines with flavour and delicacy.

Venasque

Donjon, ramparts, covered way and tower, welcome to the village of Venasque where its history has left its traces. It dominates the valley of the Nesque and the plain of Carpentras.

Sault

Welcome to the land of lavender at the foot of the Ventoux. Perched at an altitude of 766 meters, Sault overlooks the lavender fields. Visit the Arôma Plantes distillery which offers olfactory and original workshops around this small flower. Make your own soap, cut the lavender in the old fashioned way with a sickle or make souvenir bags, an original way to understand their job and their passion.
